Exploits

AWP.GG

AWP.GG

AWP.GG was an internal Roblox exploit widely regarded for its alleged ability to emulate Hyperion. Whether this claim was entirely accurate remains debated, but the general consensus within the community was that the emulation appeared real.

For a long time, AWP.GG was the exploit to own fully undetected and reportedly offering improved performance due to emulation.

However, on June 26th, 2025, AWP.GG abruptly shut down, effectively exit-scamming those with an active subscription. The reason behind their sudden disappearance remains unclear. A trusted reverse engineer in the community had previously verified that AWP.GG had implemented a working bypass for client modification bans long before the AlexTrus reversal or any competing method, making detection an unlikely cause of the shutdown.

The most plausible explanation is legal pressure, despite having a client modification bypass, users were still detected during Hunt anticheat testing phases. This has led to speculation that AWP.GG may have been pressured by Roblox directly, either through legal threats or by being compelled to cooperate. Supporting this theory is the fact that the Volt exploit the rebranded successor to AWP.GG, is now owned by an entirely different group, suggesting that the original developers sold the brand to avoid further legal involvement.

Another theory involves a significant compromise of their product, a group of Vietnamese reverse engineers managed to crack AWP.GG and began reselling it for far below the official price. There was also a lesser known, heavily gatekept vulnerability that allowed users to generate unlimited license keys. However, these issues were ultimately fixable, making this a less convincing explanation for a complete shutdown.

It’s also notable that AWP.GG and Krampus another internal exploit that eventually exited were operated by the same team. Domain registration data shows that the AWP.GG domain was registered one day before the Krampus domain, both hosted on the same Cloudflare nameserver.

After the shutdown, AWP.GG rebranded as Volt before being sold to an undisclosed buyer. It is strongly rumored and widely believed that the buyer was the team behind Delta. If true, this is seen as a positive development: the Delta developers have demonstrated consistent competence in maintaining their exploit, making a Volt related exit scam highly unlikely moving forward.
